Typographical Feelings
Typographical Feelings
Students were asked to pick a noun that describes an emotion. Then, were prompted to create four different compositions. Two serifs, and two san serifs. Then, had to come up with 10 variations, for each of the 4 compositions. Only one color other than black and white, no transparencies, or half tints. Students were encouraged to play with legibility, and problem-solving. No imagery was allowed, and the feeling of the chosen emotion should be portrayed through the use of, color, size, and composition.
